Fit4Baby® is a program designed to strengthen the body for all the changes it will experience during pregnancy. These classes exclusively focus on pregnant moms! (Other FIT4MOM® classes may include dads, nannies and other child caregivers.) Regular activity such as Fit4Baby® classes can help to reduce many maternal aches and pains, increase energy during pregnancy and may speed the labor, delivery and recovery process. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), exercise is just as important during pregnancy as any other time of life.
We contract with certified Fit4Baby® instructors so they are fully equipped to lead pregnant woman in exercises that are safe and appropriate for her changing body. Fit4Baby® classes are interval based, combining elements of strength training, cardiovascular exercises and stretching and balancing exercises.

Stroller Strides is a total fitness program that moms can do with their children in tow. It includes power walking and intervals of strength and body toning exercises using exercise tubing, the stroller and the environment. Taught by certified and specially trained fitness instructors, it is a great workout for any level of exerciser. Stroller Strides instructors weave songs and activities into the routine designed to entertain and engage baby, while moms are led through a series of exercises specific to her role as mom.
Our Stroller Strides classes are designed for women who are currently pregnant as well as moms of stroller aged children. FIT4MOM offers the country's only stroller-based barre class!
Stroller Barre® is a unique blend of ballet, Pilates, barre, yoga and stroller-based exercises incorporated with everything our moms love about Stroller Strides®. This workout is designed to help moms build strength and muscle tone and improve posture all while their little ones are in tow. Created by a mom who was formerly a professional ballerina, this class incorporates prenatal and postnatal training and yields amazing results in an exciting, fun format. Postpartum women tend to have tight and weak pectoral (chest), abdominal and quadriceps muscles. In addition, the back and hamstrings muscles become stretched and weak. This occurs due to hunched posture from breast or bottle feeding, excessive spinal curves while carrying baby in utero and after birth, and repeatedly picking their new (and rapidly growing) baby up. What is Body Back? It is a results based workout program for women at any stage of motherhood. Classes are high intensity with cardio, strength and core as the building blocks. This class is offered in 6 or 8-week sessions.
Our next 8 week session begins on Monday or Tuesday of the week starting on Jan 8th and runs until March 7, 8, or 9.
Everyone will do pre and post assessments together - Exact days and times TBD soon.
Mon/Thurs, 6-7am - Menlo Park Academy of Dance in Menlo Park, No class during the week of Feb 19th for Ski Week vacations.
Tues/Fri, 6-7am - Los Altos Youth Center at the Hillview Community Center in Los Altos, No class during the week of Feb 19th for Ski Week vacations.
Mon/Weds, 9:30-10:30 am - Crestview Park in San Carlos, No class during the week of Feb 19th for Ski Week vacations.

We also offer personalized race training programs. Our training programs are designed for any level of runner, from beginner to expert. Not just for moms or FIT4MOM members, but anyone can join. You'll learn about the fundamentals of running including injury prevention, pace, form, gear, and more. Strollers are welcome for training runs, but may not be permitted during your race.more

FIT4MOM Mom's Club events are OPEN TO ALL! You DO NOT need to be a Stroller Strides member to participate, these events are open to anyone in the community. Come out, support, connect and meet other like-minded moms during our scheduled events:
* Play Dates - Enjoy a relaxed and positive environment with other moms while playfully interacting with your children. We schedule 2-3 play dates per month, with informal play dates happening weekly after class!
* Moms' Nights Out - It's easy to put yourself on the back burner during the first few years of motherhood. We feel focusing on yourself once in a while will help you maintain a strong sense of self and ultimately help you be a better mom. We offer a Moms' Night Out once a month!
